Two days until Halloween!!
We obviously love Halloween- and it's Ram's birthday. For those of you who didn't know how the quirky name of our shop came to be, well, there you go.
We are very excited to see all of the kids' and adults' costumes this year. What are going to be the most popular costumes? I have a feeling there will be a lot of Heath Ledger/Joker costumes out there. Email me pics of your costumes and I'll post them here!
So, happenings...
Darlene will be leaving us at the end of December. We are so sad to see her go! She is an awesome tattoo artist and friend. But it's time for her to move on and she will be opening her own shop in the not-too-distant future. We don't know where or when that will be but we will let every one know, here, when we find out.
Taking her place will be the fabulous Captain Morgan! Many of you have met or been tattooed by the Captain (by the way, this is his legal name) when he's been here for guest spots. He's a talented and versatile artist with a great cheery disposition, perfect for our shop! He should be starting in January- call the shop for more information.
We are very happy to be nominated again for Best Tattoo Shop in the Weekly Dig's annual Reader's Poll issue. This means a lot to us as it is you guys that choose the winner. We have won this for the past 6 years (I think?!). So if you don't mind taking a moment, the link is

and I'm leaving this old news up...
So I just wanted to take a moment and talk about our walk-in days. Most of you know that we are very busy, and all of our artists have a devoted clientele. Depending on the artist, we could be booked a month to a year ahead. Contrary to rumour, though, it is not true that you *can't* get an appointment with any if the artists, it is just that you have to be patient. The patience will pay off though in your amazing, eye-catching tattoo!
Back to walk-ins. We know that some of you don't want to wait. Some of you want your tattoo RIGHT NOW. So we do our best to accomodate you by having semi-regular walk-in days on the weekends. We don't do it every weekend, but when we can we'll do first-come first-serve walk-ins on Saturdays and Sundays. Sooo...the best way to know what's up on a particular Saturday is to call Friday night. we're open til 10 and we'll know exactly what's going on as far as walk-ins go for the weekend. So, when in doubt, call us to check! 617-522-6444.
